Vector Studio

Vector Studio is a dedicated creative workspace for generating clean, scalable vector graphics (SVG) directly inside Brainstorm Reactor. It combines instant AI synthesis with local real-time curve and threshold tuning.

1. Opening Vector Studio

You can open Vector Studio in three ways:

  1. Left Sidebar: Click Vector Studio under the Image & Direction (Bild & Regie) section.
  2. Slash Command: Type /vector, /svg, or /logo in the prompt input field.
  3. Command Palette: Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K), type Vector, and press Enter.

2. Choosing an Engine

Vector Studio provides two complementary modes:

  • Hybrid Trace (Fast Workhorse): Synthesizes a high-contrast 2D substrate in ~1.2 seconds, then traces it into an SVG locally inside your browser. Moving the threshold or curve sliders updates the vector geometry in 80 milliseconds without requiring a new generation or consuming additional credits.
  • Native SVG (Pro Precision): Direct text-to-Bézier generation via Recraft V4 for intricate multicolor illustrations and continuous vector fills.

3. Style Presets

  • Minimal Logo: Geometric silhouettes, bold contrast, and crisp negative space for modern brand marks.
  • Monoline Icon: Uniform single-weight line strokes optimized for UI systems and navigation bars.
  • Flat Stencil: Solid color fields and screenprint-style poster aesthetics with distinct boundaries.
  • Technical Blueprint: CAD-like line precision and cross-section schematic illustrations.
  • Emblem & Badge: Circular crests, vintage stamp silhouettes, and symmetric heraldic contours.

4. Canvas View Modes & Controls

The central 16:10 stage offers four inspection modes:

  • Preview: Renders the clean, colored SVG graphic.
  • Wireframe: Shows the underlying Bézier curves and path structure in technical blue outlines.
  • Split: A side-by-side interactive comparison slider between the raster draft and the final vector result.
  • SVG XML: Inspects the raw, sanitized SVG code with a quick copy button.

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Space (Hold): Temporarily makes the studio transparent so you can peek at your underlying workspace canvas without losing state.
  • Esc: Closes Vector Studio.
  • ⌘ + Enter: Generates the vector graphic from your current prompt.

5. Exporting Assets

Once your vector graphic is ready, you can export it using the Inspector panel on the right:

  • Copy SVG: Copies clean SVG markup directly to your clipboard.
  • Download .SVG: Saves a production-ready .svg file to your computer.
  • Save to Pool: Stores the graphic in your session's media pool for later reference.
  • Apply to Chat: Injects the SVG markup directly into your active conversation.
