3D Architect & CAD Pipelines

The Brainstorm Reactor CAD suite transforms technical specifications into verified, interactively controllable Three.js geometries and FDM-printable solid models. Two specialized, complementary recipes provide distinct construction paradigms.

1. Two Complementary CAD Paradigms

2. Common Host Contract & Interface

Both pipelines enforce a strict separation between the host application shell and the algorithmic code payload:

  • Normative Interface: Exactly one pure function: buildModel(THREE, params) -> { group, title, paramDefs }.
  • Parameter Normalization: Mandatory inclusion of the canonical normalizeParameter(def) helper to enforce bounds clamping, lattice stepping, and floating-point sanitation.
  • Print-Bed Alignment (Y=0): Objects are bed-leveled at Y=0 in right-handed Three.js world space (+Y up, dimensions in millimeters).
  • Self-Contained Execution: No external imports, dynamic network calls, DOM access, or global state mutations.

3. Volumetric Multi-Agent Cascade (v2)

                                                └──── VERDICT: ──────┘
                                                      REVISE (max 2 loops)
  1. Step 1: Intent & Contract Compiler (SLOT_SYNTHESIS, silent): Deconstructs requirements into an unambiguous DesignSpec, identifying physical features, assembly mode (fused, separate-parts, print-in-place), and observable acceptance predicates.
  2. Step 2: Spatial & Topology Architect (SLOT_SYNTHESIS, visible): Architects the volumetric topology and material boundaries (GeometryPlan). Allocates features to parts using approved strategies (conforming cell boundaries, multi-plane extrusions, sweeps). Overlapping un-unioned primitives are strictly rejected.
  3. Step 3: Parameter & Manufacturing Lead (SLOT_SYNTHESIS, visible): Defines the slider-safe parameter domain (ParameterContract), establishing independent versus dependent dimensions, wall thickness bounds (≥ 1.2 mm), and critical test vectors.
  4. Step 4: Three.js Implementation Agent (SLOT_SYNTHESIS, visible): Implements the raw JavaScript buildModel(THREE, params) function. If repairing, executes surgical fixes addressing specific QA defect findings.
  5. Step 5: Independent QA Validator (SLOT_SYNTHESIS, silent): Audits the candidate code deterministically across the 8-gate volumetric ladder:
    • G0 (Integrity): Single AST declaration, zero external dependencies, approved API surface.
    • G1 (Host Contract): Strict { group, title, paramDefs } return, r160 compatibility, exact normalizer helper.
    • G2 (Scene & Triangles): Ordinary meshes with BufferGeometry, finite coordinates, positive transform determinants.
    • G3 (Material Boundary): Closed edges, opposite edge traversal, outward winding, non-zero volume.
    • G4 (Interactions & Fidelity): No overlapping shells claimed as union, real cavities, assembly clearances.
    • G5 (Parameter Domain): Slider-safe bounds, non-inverting topology across all tested extremes.
    • G6 (Manufacturing & FDM): Minimum wall thickness, bed contact stability, support accessibility.
    • G7 (Export & Slicing): STL export roundtrip, non-degenerate triangle parsing.
  6. Step 6: Release & 3D Render (SLOT_3D, visible): Transfers verified code to the Spatial Canvas for real-time 3D interaction, parameter tuning, and binary STL manufacturing export.

4. Model Recommendations (Slot Allocation)

For reliable mathematical topology decomposition, FDM constraint satisfaction, and multi-gate code synthesis, models from the Top 5 or the High End Reasoning category are required for the code synthesis slots.

  • Synthesis Slots (Steps 1–5 — SLOT_SYNTHESIS): Erfordert Modelle der Kategorie „High End Reasoning“ (Top 5 Modelle) für verlässliche Geometrieberechnung, Parameternormierung und FDM-Auditing.
  • 3D Viewport Slot (Step 6 — SLOT_3D): Host-seitige Ausführung im interaktiven Spatial Canvas mit Three.js r160 Viewport und STL-Export.
